Course description

Surveys of immigrant populations – Current State, Future Perspectives, and Methodological Issues, the CESSDA Data Discovery Group workshop on migration will take place at GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, on 13-14 November 2017 in Cologne.

On the first day of the workshop, an overview of migration data archived at GESIS and other CESSDA member organisations will be provided. Sessions on day two of the workshop will feature an in-depth introduction to a selection of large-scale survey programs on migration-related issues. A planned subsequent symposium on “Methodological Issues in Surveying Immigrant Populations” is pending funding.
